The DTS® Change Order module provides a singular process for ordering currency and change across the entire breadth of a retailer's footprint. In doing so, the DTS® system enables corporate to control the order quantities, types, and manage change order discrepancies for all locations using one system. Orders can be placed in a matter of seconds and order details are available to users who have rights to view them.
Typical change ordering systems stop at placing a change order, but DTS® Change Orders tracks three statuses: when the change order is created, when it is received by the store location, and finally when it has been verified by the store location.
DTS® Change Ordering enables retailers to manage the change order process more efficiently through its end-to-end tracking and verification. In the event there is an issue with a change order, all order information including amount, fullfilling institution, employee identification and confirmation numbers are readily available. Also, since store personnel have the ability to verify their change orders online, the DTS® system can immediate notify headquarters with an alert, giving advanced notice of the issue so it can be resolved quickly.
Additionally, the DTS® system can provide transparency to the funding process for change orders. Whether it is in the form of a compensating deposit or payment, the system has built in functionality to create and "tie" these to the corresponding change order. In doing so, corporate personnel can efficiently verify that all change orders are being funded appropriately.
There is a built-in analysis tool for DTS® Change Ordering that shows all non-funded and change orders that have not been received.
